Breast augmentation
The size of breasts is very important for women for many reasons. We can fill and augment breasts by performing the augmentation with silicon implants (we frequently use the high quality implants Mc Ghan and Mentor). We can improve the balance of whole body and correct the breast changes which are the result of the breastfeeding or the weight reduction. A lot of women gain a stronger self confidence after this procedure. Breast implants are inserted into the breasts via short incisions in armpits, along the areolar border or in the infra-mammary fold. The swelling of the breast will subside within 2-4 weeks and the scars will mature, soften and fade in 1 year time. After the surgery patients should visit their surgeon once a year for check-up, so the implants can be replaced on time if necessary or to make the correction of unwanted changes in the shape. Breast implants are not considered being a lifelong solution, but they can last for many years without replacement.

Pendulous, sagging, empty breasts, sometimes with enlarged areola are usually caused by a labour or weight reduction. The breast reshaping, mastopexy enables to lift the breast and the nipple and to strengthen it. The shape is improved by reduction of the redundant skin. Abdominoplasty ("tummy tuck")
The abdominoplasty is designed for those women who want to have flatter and firmer abdomen. This procedure is less common among men. During the procedure, the excessive skin and fat is removed and the muscles of the abdominal wall are tightened. We have two options we can provide abdominoplasty or miniabdominoplasty. We can combine both surgeries with the abdomen liposuction in order to achieve better result. The scar is horizontal located in lower abdomen (above the pubic hairs). Its length depends on the extent of the surgery. After abdominoplasty, we can expect the improvement of the abdomen profile, smoother and firmer abdomen. Liposuction ("suction-assisted fat removal")
There are parts of our body where the fat is stored in excessive amount and despite intensive exercises, it is difficult to manage the weight reduce and to improve body proportions and your body profile. These areas are often determined by genetic factors. In such cases, liposuction (fat removal) might help. The most common affected areas are abdomen and waist, flanks and hips, inner thighs, ankles and calves, cheeks, submental (chin) and neck, back and thorax. There is a number of methods of liposuction e.g. classical, tumescent, ultrasound-assisted, vibration-assisted etc. The principle is always the same – the excessive fat removal. Some of the methods just liquefy the fat, afterwards it has to be removed metabolically. The effect of these methods is usually low. The swelling and haematomas should subside within 2-4 weeks, but the final result is noticeable in 3-6 months. It is necessary to wear the elastic compression underwear after the procedure for 2-6 weeks and the massages, so-called ”rolling“ is convenient. In order to maintain the attained result of the surgery, it is ideal to keep the same weight which was at the time of surgery.

Blepharoplasty (the eyelid surgery)
The aim of the cosmetic eyelid surgery is to improve the appearance of the upper and lower eyelids and to achieve more relaxed appearance of the face. During the surgery it is possible to remove or reposition skin and skin folds which alter the natural eyelid look, excessive skin which is located on the upper lids and can worsen the sight and the excessive fat tissue which causes the puffy eyelid look (so-called fat tissue prolapses). With the help of the corrective surgery of lower eyelids, it is possible to correct „puffy eyes“, loose and weakened lower eyelids which are manifested by uncovering of the sclera under the iris and we can remove the excessive skin located on lower eyelids which causes coarse wrinkles. Scars are located on upper eyelids, hidden under the natural skin fold and on lower eyelids, they are located right under the eyelashes. The excessive skin, muscle and fat tissue prolapses are removed during the surgery. After the surgery, a swelling and smaller haematomas always appear, but subside within a week up to 10 days. The swelling subsides within 1 month and smaller swellings subside in approximately 3 months after the surgery, by this time the final result is usually noticeable. Scars mature in 1 year, they fade and soften, become less visible during this time.

Brow lift

Rhinoplasty (nose correction)
The shape of the nose is determined by a genetic predisposition, it can be deformed by an injury or previous surgery. The aim of the cosmetic nose surgery is to improve the shape and the size and so soften the overall appearance of the face and improve proportions of the face. The second aim is to improve the breathing problems caused by the structural changes of the nose. With the help of the nose surgery it is possible to change the size of the nose, the width of the nostrils, the position of nostrils, the nose profile, to remove the nasal hump, to reduce the bulbous, descending or upturned nasal tip, to improve the shape and size of nostrils, to correct the nose asymmetry. Scars are hidden inside the nostrils or there can be a short, not very visible scar on the lower middle part of the nose between the nostrils. Correction of protruding ears (otoplasty)
Prominent, protruding ears may cause the altered facial proportions. With the help of the surgery of protruding ears we can correct the shape of the ears and bring the ears closer to the head (ear pinning). We can improve facial proportions by performing this surgery. Scars are located at the back of the pinna, and so they are not very visible. Reshaping of pinna is achieved by reshaping of the cartilage and by its fixation in the required shape by using shaping sutures and bandage. It is necessary to wear the bandage after the surgery for 10 days and headband for 2-6 weeks. The swelling subsides and the final shape is noticeable in 3 months. Ageing face surgery (Face-lift)
The natural process of ageing of the skin makes other facial tissues looser, as a result wrinkles and skin folds are formed. We can correct these changes by the surgery called face-lifting. This surgery helps to reduce noticeable marks of ageing on the face and neck, e.g. saggy skin in the middle part of the face, coarse wrinkles under lower eyelids, deep folds between nose and mouth, the position of fat pockets, decreased muscle tone in the lower part of the face which causes sagging of the face. It is possible to remove the excessive fat and skin under the lower jaw and chin. If the changes are small, we can modify the surgery and perform it with shorter incisions so-called mini-facelift. The result of the surgery is noticeable immediately, the swelling subsides within 2-4 weeks. Mild swelling and post-surgery changes can last for 1 to 3 months. The final result of the surgery is noticeable in 1 year, after the scars´ maturation.

Labioplasty (labial reduction)
Some women suffer from having oversized labia minor which hang below the labia majora. Oversized labia minora can cause problems when doing some sports activities, wearing a particular type of clothes, they can be visible in swimsuit and they can the cause discomfort during the intercourse and personal hygiene. Moreover it can be the cause of the loss of self-esteem and problems in sexual life. The surgery has few modifications, the choice of the method depends on the shape of labia. The surgery is mostly performed under local anaesthesia with analgosedation or under general anaesthesia. If the surgery is performed under local anaesthesia, patients can leave the hospital the same day. After the surgery we recommend sitting baths and gentle washing by antibacterial soap 2-3 times per day. The post operative care is very important and if you follow the rest regime and hygiene, the wounds usually tend to heal well, except for larger swelling. Sometimes, complications and prolonged healing can occur. If the healing process proceeds in a usual way, you can resume all your common activities in approximately 1-2 weeks. A discomfort in a wound after the surgery can remain for a certain period of time. The state becomes stable after a year.
